My pregnant wife mentioned that she has a craving for 肉鬆蛋烧饼 a few days back.
So I took the opportunity to surprise her on Mother's Day today.
Its in a complicated area so the best option is to go and da bao back for her.
Went out early in the morning 6+ am while she and Jaron are asleep and head down to 台湾永和豆浆油条大王 @ Lor 24A Geylang.
Ate my breakfast there since there is still time away from Jaron waking time.
The 烧饼 is nice, even though its not very warm. The skin is slightly too thick but tasted nice together with the floss and egg.
As for the soy bean milk, either the staff forgot to add syrup for me or they saw my big belly and decided to do me some good. lol.
Anyway, I was too lazy to ask about it and drank it without syrup. (Take it as a diet lol) Its bland but the soy bean milk smell and taste is still fragrant.
P/S: Overheard 2 guys and 1 girl about paying for some hotel stay and fooling around. OMG. Think its best that kids do not go there. lol
Takeaway 肉鬆蛋烧饼 and 台湾面线 for my dear wife aka Jaron's mum.
The 台湾面线 is surprisingly decent. Not too salty, but maybe a tiny touch too much starch. The noodles is smooth and nice. But the pig's intestine is a bit too little. Overall still quite good. Of course, the best is still to eat in Taiwan! LOL.
Glad that my wife enjoyed them. Happy Mother's Day to my wife!
